Cornwall’s Got Talent
We will be taking part in Cornwall’s Got Talent at the Killacourt (above Blue Reef Aquarium) in Newquay.
The heats are on Friday 28th August and the teams will be dancing at the times listed below.
1.30-2.30pm X-treme and Dream Team
4-5pm Dyna-mites and Rock Steady
5-5.30pm Tomassi’s Theatre School (singing Circle of Life)
9-9.30pm Ulti-m8 (finishing the show because you’re so good!)
The Dance Teams and Rock Skool have also been asked to perform on the Saturday in a Showcase at 3pm.
The Semi finals and finals will be held on Monday 31st August.

two tomassi’s students get part in hit TV Series Doc Martin
the filming of the new series of the hit ITV show Doc Martin has started filming in Port Isaac this week. Ruby Pender and Caitlin Dowie, 2 young students of Tomassi’s School of Performing Arts in Newquay have beaten numerous london stage school hopefuls by landing speaking roles in the new series.
Producer Philippa Braithwaite and director Ben Bolt came to newquay to do the casting when they met a number of Tomassi’s students. Both the girls impressed them to secure the acting roles. The girls and their parents are delighted at their success, and can’t wait for the shoot in mid May.
One of the girls will have to play alongside the star of the show Doc Martin played by Martin Clunes as he helps her out of a painful predicament.
I’m sure this is only the beginning of some great acting opportunities for the talented kids of Tomassi’s school of perfoming arts.

Welcome to Tomassi’s theatre school in Newquay Cornwall.
Tomassi’s is a weekend performing arts school where kids and teenagers from 6-19 years can learn to sing dance and act. For 3 hours on Saturday mornings they will be taught be professional tutors who are experts in their particular field.
